Arabica Coffee grown in Mt Elgon areas of Uganda. We grow Robusta Coffee at 2 coffee plantations in Central Uganda districts of Mityana and Kasanda. We grow enough Robusta coffee to supply roasted and ground coffee in Kampala and Entebbe Uganda through the Bwami Coffee brand. We’re also exporters of mainly Robusta Coffee green beans to a number of destinations in Europe, the UK, UAE, North Africa and South East Asia. We currently have international coffee buyers and coffee importers from Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Belarus, United Kingdom, Ireland, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, South Africa, to name but a few .

In addition, we source and export some of the finest conventional and speciality  Arabica (washed and natural) coffee from all the country’s major Arabica coffee growing regions but most especially from the slopes of Mt Elgon from Kapchorwa and Mbale Arabica coffee farms. We partner with Chanzo Coffee who are certified Arabica Coffee farmers and exporters to bring to you roasted, ground coffee for local consumption in Kampala and Entebbe, as well as Grade AA and Grade AB Certified Arabica green coffee beans at very competitive prices. Chanzo Coffee and Bwami Coffee together form a very formidable and dependable coffee collaboration that meets the coffee importation requirements and volumes of our international and domestic coffee buyers who need to buy both Arabica Coffee and Robusta Coffee for their coffee blending requirements.

Uganda grows mostly Robusta Coffee 80% with Arabica Coffee only contributing 20% of the country’s coffee production volumes. Arabica supplies are therefore quite limited and fiercely competed for. We recommend that you contact us well ahead of time, for us to allocate you the requisite Arabica Coffee export volumes. We have the capability of exporting 21 tonnes of Arabica Coffee every month.  Our Arabica Coffee is sourced directly from carefully selected Arabica farms in Mbale and Kapchorwa. We rigorously enforce quality standards at the farms where we source our Arabica coffee from to ensure that they meet the stringent standards of Coffee that our buyers and customers have come to expect from a specialty coffee brand. We monitor and discourage the use of herbicides as well as non-organic pesticides. Our farmers only pick red ripe cherries and dry their Arabica coffee on raised coffee platforms to stop contamination with stones, foreign materials, etc. We ensure that the Arabica coffee we export as green coffee beans or the coffee beans that we roast and grind at our coffee processing facility in Bugolobi Kampala is dry to the recommended standards of a moisture content of 12%.
